Mclelland Engineering
MCE had the opportunity to work with Thompson Construction for the construction of the City of Warren’s new Industrial Park Water Well Facility. The water well facility scope of work included new 3-phase electrical components, auxiliary generator and automatic transfer switch, 300 HP Variable Speed Drive (VFD) for the installed water well, SCADA, fluoride and chlorine chemical feed system, yard piping and site development. Thompson Construction use their own resources along with several sub-contractors to complete the scope of work that started November 2023 and was completed June 2025. Project cost was $786,643. Thompson Construction managed long delivery times for many of the electrical components, for example, the VFD required a 12-months from order to delivery. Thompson Construction helped the City of Warren with a successful grant application for the fluoride equipment and was professional in their performance and management of their subcontractors for a successful project.
